Sundyne appoints new regional sales manager for North and Latin America

Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales manager for North and Latin America, specializing in the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new function, Smith will strengthen buyer going through initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal teams to expand throughout the C&I space.
Smith comes to Sundyne with greater than 30 years of expertise in selling extremely engineered gear and repair solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and end users in the renewable power, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power generation markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vp of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed methods to strengthen & grow distributor gross sales, whereas also overseeing coaching and applications help. He previously served as a regional sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith started his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has additionally worked with midstream oil & fuel OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
