Philippines to boost the minimal age of sexual consent from 12 to 16

The age of sexual consent in the Philippines is being raised from 12 to 16 years previous. President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a bill raising the minimum age in an effort to guard adolescents from rape and sexual assault.
