FDA urge mother and father to be cautious after a number of children ate hashish edibles in southern Thailand

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) urged dad and mom to be cautious after a quantity of children in southern Thailand have been hospitalized for consuming cannabis-infused edibles.
The FDA was informed that the children had eaten chocolate cookies that contained high levels of the psychoactive compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which the FDA did not approve.
The cookies have been labelled “Twix Chocolate and THC 600 MG PER BAG PER 2 Cookies” and were believed to have been smuggled into the nation as they had not been imported by way of FDA checkpoints nor sold on-line outlets, Bangkok Post reported.
The FDA has examined samples of the cookies and confirmed that the products did not have their approval. The company has set a limit of 1.6 milligrams of THC per bottle/box/sachet for cannabis-infused products, and any such merchandise will need to have FDA approval.
