Emergency Decree prolonged till January 31

The Emergency Decree has been prolonged till January 31, giving the Thai authorities sweeping powers to impose measures to fight the spread of Covid-19.
In its basic meeting chaired by PM Prayut Chan-o-cha, the CCSA decided to increase the decree as a result of ongoing Covid-19 situation. The decree was imposed firstly of the pandemic in March 2020 and has been extended a number of times since then.
