Elephant chooses unhealthy time for a lie down in Khao Yai national park

A giant bull elephant has tried to crush a car filled with vacationers that stopped on a road in Khao Yai nationwide park in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima), north east of Bangkok, prompting nationwide park workers to remind visitors what they want to do if they are confronted by one of many mighty beasts as they drive via.
Profit tusked elephant, was standing beside a automotive parked on the main highway through the park in Pak Chong district yesterday afternoon. The elephant then began leaning on the automotive before straddling the rear of the car and reducing its weight.
The driver moved ahead slowly trying to prevent the rear suspension giving way. The video shows the sedan’s rear window smashed and the roof and body broken.
Luckily nobody was injured in the incident.
Park employees posted a Facebook message saying that Duea at all times came out to “say hello” tourists between the moist and cold seasons. The park counsel drivers should stop their vehicles 30 metres away from any elephant, maintain the engines on and be able to “back away if the animal comes closer”, in accordance with the Bangkok Post.
“Don’t stop the automobile to take photographs, as a end result of that may pose a hazard to you and your vehicle.”
