A tragic incident occurred in Bedworth, Warwickshire, when a woman in her 70s was fatally attacked by a canine. The police have been referred to as to Kathleen Avenue at three.50pm on Friday, however the girl was pronounced dead at the scene. A 52-year-old man and a 49-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a banned canine breed and owning a dangerously out-of-control dog. The girl is presently in hospital receiving treatment for a non-life-threatening damage inflicted by the canine, while the man has been launched on bail.
Premiere referred to the occasion as a “tragic isolated incident.” They added, “Thankfully dog attacks of this nature are exceedingly uncommon, but I recognise this might be deeply upsetting for the native community. The public can anticipate to see a heightened police presence in and across the space whereas we conduct our enquiries.”
