BANGKOK: A man from Buri Ram province who went on a three-day ingesting binge returned to his job within the capital with a terrible pain in his stomach – which he apparently tried to remedy by working on himself. The man, recognized as a 32-year-old Sanan Jodrum, having three days vacation, did what most low-paid laborers in Bangkok do: he boarded a bus and went again to his hometown to see family and pals. After saying a brief hello to his wife, he joined a wong lao (literally, a “whisky circle”) with his rural pals, consuming repeatedly for 3 days and three nights – with out consuming. When he returned to the capital, he suffered from horrible stomach pains. He consulted a doctor who informed him it was the outcomes of excessive alcohol intake and lack of meals.
