Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has received an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to produce gasoline pump systems for 15 new construct dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell fuel pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It is also the second LNG fuel pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj within the last yr. In Smooth , Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that sales could enhance even additional in 2022.
