A man filed a complaint with the native police department after being swindled out of 5 million baht by a good friend. It was later revealed that this so-called pal of his had previously served a prison sentence for seven counts of theft and fraud.
The 39 yr old victim, Trirat “Bird” Liwsiri-anan, filed a criticism at Mueang Pattalung Police Station and urged Thai media to unfold his story after his good friend went on the run.
Bird revealed that his friend, 30 year old Win, was a former colleague at an organization in Bangkok several years ago. Win resigned after which the pair by no means saw one another till a chance meeting in March final 12 months.

Bird alleges that he and Win drank together on February 6. Win requested him to switch money to him at 300 baht, and he did it in entrance of him. Bird thought Win peeked at his financial institution account’s password and later transferred the cash when he fell asleep.
Bird mentioned he chased Win out of the house, however his mother asked Win to stay because she loved him like one other son. Bird revered his mother’s choice and let him stay.
However, Win disappeared from his house on February 15 with property belonging to Bird and his mother, including gold and diamond necklaces, money, and other treasured assets that had been handed down through generations.
Bird added that he had recently found that Win was not jailed for attempted homicide however for seven charges related to theft and fraud.
