Thordon Bearings appoints new technical director

Thordon Bearings has hired Anthony Hamilton as its new technical director.
Reporting directly to CEO Anna Galon, Hamilton will lead Thordon’s engineering, CAD and new product improvement teams.

Hamilton graduated from Ireland’s Munster Technological University in 1985 with a degree in marine engineering. After shifting to Canada and completing a Masters in Design and Manufacturing Engineering at McMaster University, he spent 10 years at Siemens AG in Hamilton, Ontario, then worked within the nuclear trade with Atomic Energy of Canada and Kinectrics Inc. He went on to establish the engineering consultancy Sthenos Consulting.
Hamilton’s appointment is a half of a company-wide restructure at Thordon Bearings that also sees Michael Skrzypczak named world service & assist (GSS) supervisor.
